For some people, their caffeine fix in the morning is a vital part of their day. Whether it’s one cup of black filter coffee or three cups of instant, they have to have it before they can get going with whatever they need to.

However, we all know that just like anything else, drinking too much coffee simply isn’t good for you. Since it’s a stimulant, it has the potential to increase your heart rate just a little too much and it may also not be great for your sleeping habits.

But you can breathe a sigh of relief, because luckily, it’s not all bad news. Coffee isn’t bad in itself, it’s more about how much you drink. If you can limit yourself to no more than one cup a day, you should be fine – and the best part is that’s really not that hard.

Here are 5 healthy ways to drink coffee.

Don’t Add Loads of Sugar, Milk or Cream

Often, people will drink a cup of coffee, but it’s filled with so much sugar and cream that it’s more like a milkshake that is coffee flavoured. If you can eliminate this unhealthy extras, or at least limit then, you’ll be able to make your caffeine consumption far healthier.

Don’t Drink Coffee After 2pm

This one’s really important for two reasons – first, setting boundaries and limits, and two, to avoid inhibiting your sleep. If you can set yourself a limit to how much coffee you can drink in a day and when you need to stop, you’ll be able to develop healthier habits related to caffeine.

In addition, if you’re able to stop consuming caffeine after 2pm, it’s unlikely that it’ll affect your sleep.

Limit How Much Coffee You Drink

People have different preferences when it comes to drinking coffee, and often, you know your limits – your body tells you. But even for those who feel that they can tolerate, or even need, more than a few cups of coffee, it still doesn’t mean it’s good for you.

The best case scenario is to have no more than one cup of coffee a day. If you try to associate it with waking up, having you caffeine fix and then moving on to water, tea or something else when you’re relaxing and enjoying Kiwi mobile betting, it’ll be a lot easier to drink less coffee.

It’s all about consumption in moderation. As we’ve said, coffee in itself isn’t necessarily too bad, but if you’re drinking too much, too often, it’s certainly not going to be a good thing.

Go Organic

This may not always be easy, especially if you’re buying coffee from a coffee shop while you’re on the go, but if you can, choose organic coffee. It means that there will be fewer artificial ingredients involved, and the coffee will also be made with fewer pesticides and other harmful substances. Going natural can be a great way to make your caffeine consumption healthier in the long run.
